0.0.6 Update: New Horizons: Infinite Worlds!
0.0.6 Update for Minecraft 2.0 - New Horizons!
New world, trees, new quests, portals and more!
Finally, we can go back, closer to the usual Minecraft but with unusual terrain generation - "Overworld" is here!
Also, you can now walk as far as you want. I enabled and fixed some things with procedural generation, and now it's ready for you! Now as well you shouldn't wait for minutes to load the map at the start - it's fixed now!
The full list of changes:
Big Changes
- New world! New bushes, new generation, and abandoned village! And of course - the sunny warm days! You will get access to it after finishing 3 main quests via teleport
- New Trees in 2 worlds and heavily changed logic to optimize and save them correctly
- Enabled procedural world generation! Now you can go as far as you want and the world will be generated for you. Working in all worlds!
- Removed the need to wait 1-5 minutes to load the map at the start of each session - now you should have the same fps right away
- 3 new quests! + 5-10+ mins of gameplay
- Finally fixed minimap in the game, now it's showing the real landscape instead of a white picture
Small Changes
- Changed how leaves are being destroyed - now instead of cubes - there will be particles
Environment Changes:
- Half-finished huge cave
- Portal and balcony at the end of the cave
- Abandoned village in the New World
- Bushes in the new world
FPS: 160-175 (158-190) on my PC (RTX 4090, Ryzen 5 5950X and 128 GB RAM)
220-240 - new world
